Services

7am Sunday

The 7.00am Eucharist at St John’s is a traditional service of Holy Communion from A Prayer book for Australia (APBA) Second Order. The service is on powerpoint and includes hymns and a sermon based on the lectionary readings for the day.

9am Sunday

This is a family-oriented service that enjoys a mix of all age groups, and includes worship with hymns. This service respects and holds closely to the traditions of the Anglican Church, Service of Holy Communion.  We encourage the children do be a part of this service. If you have difficulty getting to the 9am service please take advantage of our free bus service. Please phone Mr Alan Moore on 41284279.

6pm Service

This service combines the Eucharistic traditions of the church with a modern liturgy and contemporary music.

10am Wednesday

This service provides respite in the midst of the craziness of life. An informal Eucharistic service in the chapel of St. John’s provides an opportunity to punctuate our week with prayer, Word and Sacrament. This community provides an oasis in the week and is an opportunity for those who cannot come to Sunday Services. On the first Wednesday of each month the congregation enjoys a “Caring and Sharing” fellowship following the service with morning tea.

10am Friday

This service is held at the Ministry Centre at Pialba. For those who can’t manage to get to St. John’s on Sunday or through the week, it offers an alternative. This is normally a small congregation who enjoy fellowship following the service with a morning tea.
